Open Studio Trail at Kindred Studios

I'm delighted to share that I'll be part of Open Studio Trail this Saturday, a self-guided walking trail through artist studios, galleries and maker spaces across Footscray and Yarraville.

On Saturday 27th June, from 11am to 4pm with an afterparty to follow, the trail opens up some of Melbourne's west's most vibrant creative spaces. You can meet artists, see works in progress, exhibitions, demonstrations and installations, and discover the creative communities shaping the area.

I'll be showing my paintings at Kindred Studios, a wonderful multi-purpose creative hub with private studio suites, band rehearsal rooms, coworking, workshop studios, film and photography studios, dance and yoga studios and performance spaces all under one roof. Hosted tours will include a look into all of these, and there'll be original projection artworks by First Nations artists through The Dreaming Project, alongside exhibitions from local artists and photographers throughout the venue.

Visitors can expect open studio viewing, exhibitions and artwork for sale. Entry is free, drop-ins are welcome, and the venue has step-free access, wheelchair accessibility and accessible toilets. For more on the day, visit kindredstudios.com.au/whats-on or find them on Instagram at @kindredstudios. Come along and say hello.
